In the B9 series Audi A4, the new ap coilover suspension guarantees sporty roadholding

Since May 2019, ap Sportfahrwerke has been part of the KW automotive group and is increasingly developing coilover suspensions for current cars.

From now on, ap offers coilover kits for all Avant and sedan models of the Audi A4 B9 series (type B8, B81) from production year 10/2015.

The continuously variable lowering range for the front-wheel-drive Audi A4 sedan is between 40 and 65 millimeters for both axles. Thanks to the axle design and the lower center of gravity of the Audi quattro (all-wheel drive) sedan, the AP coilover suspension allows for a continuous lowering of 30 to 55 millimeters on the front axle and 35 to 65 millimeters on the rear axle. For Audi A4 Avant (Station Wagon) models, a continuous lowering of 35 to 60 millimeters can be configured for both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

The chassis design, with its dynamic and sporty springs and harmonious and sporty damper tuning, ensures that comparatively good driving comfort is maintained despite maximum lowering. KW Automotive guarantees a two-year warranty on ap sportfahrwerke coilover suspensions for two years, if the suspension is professionally installed as described in the accompanying parts report and installation instructions by the local car repair shop. Due to legal requirements for minimum technical clearances for vehicles with natural gas propulsion, coilover suspensions are not available for the Audi A4 Avant g-tron.
